Fall Leaves
A couple of days ago I was leaving my house for work. I looked over my shoulder as I was backing out of the driveway. My Japanese Maple looked like it was on fire! Oh my goodness! The sun was coming up and hit the tree just right. So I hopped out of the car to snap a few pics. Buy the time I got back into the car the light had all ready changed.
I have been a little envious of some of the fall pictures you all post. Here in eastern North Carolina we have mostly pine trees. You have to drive to the mountains to see really pretty fall foliage. So I couldn't wait to share with you.

Also you need to see the cool tepee my class made Friday. We have been studying Indians for a few days. What do ya think?

The end.

I really LOVE Japanese maple trees! They are so beautiful. I am happy for you that you have your own little piece of fall foliage to enjoy!
I love that tee pee. That is a really cool project. Your students had to have had a ball making that! I think those are the things that they will always remember later in life.
